At Rachael's Centre we believe that there is a significant and growing urgency within the Jewish community for a pluralistic centre of learning and sharing. In the modern world there are many impediments that can get in the way of this goal. Time, knowledge gaps, media, competing value systems, life relevance, oppression, burn out and lack of community support are some of the obstacles. Moreover, assimilation and anti-Semitism continue to be real and powerful threats to the health and sustainability Jewish communities all over the world.

Right now there is a unique opportunity for empowerment across the generations with knowledge, learning tools and a community focal point that can make a difference, within Judaism and beyond. An opportunity to create a place where Jews of all denominations can engage, ask questions, build confidence through knowledge and reclaim their "place at the table" of Judaism.

The time has come to create this place of learning and expression. Facilitated by the Internet, the new world of mixed media, interactive communications and the charismatic leadership of Dr. Rachael Turkienicz, this is all possible.
