A six (6) part interactive lecture series. This class is an ongoing study of mussar, the system of ethical behaviour within Judaism. We split our time between text study and personal observations. The texts include Torah, Talmud and Chassidic legends as our case studies. The process of mussar is to give each person a method through which to improve their lives, reduce their stress and ultimately heal the world.

Mussar: A Continuing Journey

This course is an introductory study of Mussar and the Leviticus texts that ground this approach. Highly interactive, we base ourselves within Torah and Talmud, as well as Chassidic Masters and their legends. Students bridge these materials with Mussar, Jewish ethical behaviour, and the challenges of today's world.
* Each lecture is approximately 1 hour in duration.
* This course is self-contained and requires no prior study.
